One on One Challenge games are mini games where 2 players go in and only one comes out, or where 2 teams of 2 players each go in and go at each other until one team is left standing.
Commence a challenge by starting a new topic on the Head-to-Head board here. The New Topic title must include your Alias and the Alias of the Warrior you are challenging and a list of 4 races the challenged may pick from. Then send an email or Personal Message via theForum notifying the Challenged they have been challenged to a Head-to-Head duel.
The Challenged may then accept the challenge by selecting their race from the 4 offered, a scenario from the list below and selecting the win criteria. Win criteria must be either highest score by a turn # greater than 40 or when a player loses their last base. Challenges may be accepted by notifying the host via email or by posting to theForum. It is not necessary for the Challenged to participate in Forum posting in order to contend in a challenge. The Challenger shall respect this right of the Challenged and shall not post disparaging remarks else the Challenger may risk forfeiting the Challenge.
The challenger now selects a race from the 3 remaining from their original list.
Players may mutually choose game add-ons. The host will accomodate add-ons where possible.
The HConfig file will be default configuration. Any changes to this configuration must be agreed to by both players.
The game score for a challenge will not be reflected in a warriors total score for theStarbase. A seperate set of statistics will show how many challenges a player has participated in and how many they have won. All players completing a challenge will receive a Challenge Ribbon.
Scoring, the finer points: Both players must complete the challenge to get their ribbon. A player is dropped from and concedes the challenge and their ribbon is forfeit if they miss more than 2 turns in a row. The remaining player wins the challenge and receives their ribbon. No penalty points are applied to a dropping player but their stats will show a challenge "loss".
The following are the scenarios the Challenged may choose from.
